Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
